WMTL welcomes new Director

on Fri, 03/27/2015 - 4:07pm

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Ricardo Pino as Director of the West Milford Township Library. Ricardo graduated from Bowdoin College in Maine with a BA in History and Spanish, and had a varied career in human resources and recruitment, and marketing and sales. When he realized that the public library, the "people's university", was where he wanted to dedicate his career, he pursued and received his Masters in Library Science from Rutgers. Most recently, Ricardo served as the Branch Manager of the Reid Memorial branch of the Passaic Public Library. As Director, Ricardo is looking forward to soaking in what it means to be a member of the West Milford community, rallying the construction of our new library facility past the finish line, and educating the community on how our new building will dramatically expand what is already an excellent tradition of outstanding service and programming.
